2. Crowd Dynamics - Basic Mathematical Techniques
(Basic Mathematical Techniques)
In this course we cover the essential elements for calculating crowd dynamics such as flow rates along routes, entry and exit rates for venues, capacities, areas and percentage distributions on entry/exit. I'm often asked for "heaps of working examples" and to this aim I've created this short course.
Flow rates, fill times and failure times are essential to determine which type of management control may be necessary to keep crowds safe in the complex and built environment.
Assessing the space, fill times, time to reach critical mass and/or crush density are fundamental to understanding crowd safety. You'll find lots of examples for the built and complex spaces allows experienced operators to understand crowd flows and anticipated how and where crowds can build up to dangerous densities.
The cost of this course is £150.
