The application of the crowd dynamics event meta-model which outlines the phases and influences of crowd behaviour (DIM-ICE).
There are three main influences influences to crowd behaviour (Design, Information and Management) and three main phases of crowd behaviour (Ingress, Circulation and Egress). There are also two main modes of crowd behaviour - normal and emergency.
This course defines these phases, influences and modes for the crowd in the complex and built environment. Each of these topics are developed in depth with case studies and examples from over 20 years of consultancy at Govt. level.
