HISTORY

The 2026 International Conference on Computational Mechanics and Smart Systems (CMSS 2026) was successfully held on April 25, 2026, at Fujian Fuyao University of Science and Technology. Hosted by the university and organized by its School of Vehicle and Intelligent Transportation, the conference received strong support from several partner universities. Focusing on interdisciplinary frontiers such as intelligent algorithms, multi-scale simulation, and physics-informed neural networks, the event brought together over 80 experts and scholars from domestic and international institutions.

In his opening address, Professor Yi Qiu, Dean of the hosting school, warmly welcomed the attendees and introduced the vision of Fujian Fuyao University of Science and Technology. The conference featured insightful keynote speeches covering topics from computational solid mechanics and tribology to intelligent computing for human dynamics and energy management strategies for new energy vehicles. Additionally, young scholars presented their research in lively oral sessions, showcasing vibrant innovation.

The conference concluded with a certificate presentation ceremony. In his closing remarks, Conference Chair Professor Zhi Zong expressed gratitude to all participants and supporters, highlighting that the wide-ranging topics—from nanoscale vibration to macroscopic vehicle control—fully demonstrated the depth and vitality of research in computational mechanics and smart systems.
